The King’s Head Pub, Wadenhoe
In association with the ‘BB and his world’ project, Taffy Thomas, the current Laureate of Storytelling, will take a family audience on a ‘virtual journey’ of storytelling down the River Nene in the garden of The Kings Head pub, Wadenhoe which overlooks the river with additional visual arts activities taking place on site.
Taffy Thomas, MBE, is a storyteller, based in Grasmere in the English Lake District and is widely acknowledged as England’s leading proponent in the art of traditional storytelling, boasting a repertoire of over 300 tales and elaborate ‘lies’ collected predominantly from oral sources and folklore.
